Max just turned 16 yrs. old in Feb! When Max came to DBHR in September of 2023 we didn't think this old man had much time left. His people had health problems and could no longer care for Max or get the Huge (weighed 6oz) stinky tumor removed from under his jaw. Since we adore seniors, DBHR took him in, and our vet did an amazing job removing the tumor and a couple of other smaller tumors Max had on his face. And thank God, Max made it through the surgery with flying colors. Almost 2 years later the old boy still wants his dinner, car rides and rubs. Max gets a monthly Librela shot that gives him better mobility along with supplements for arthritis. Max although a bit more senile than before is the Sweetest old man you’ll ever meet.
